the Ultimate SA Hike Odyssey is your ticket to an epic 29-day journey that’ll blow your mind! Kick off in Johannesburg with a drive to Kruger for 4 days of bush hikes on the Olifants Wilderness Trail, spotting the Big Five up close in rustic camps. Then fly to Cape Town for a rest day before driving to Namibia’s Fish River Canyon for 6 days of rugged treks through steep drops and river crossings – pure adrenaline! Wrap it up with a flight to East London, drive to Port St John’s, and slackpack the Wild Coast Pondoland trail for 4 days of coastal bliss, beaches, and Xhosa culture in cozy lodges. All-inclusive with meals, guides, and transport for limited to 8 spots!

Day 1 kicks off with a meet-up in JHB and a 5-6 hour drive to Kruger’s southern entrance for orientation. 

Days 2-5 are the Kruger hike: 4 days/3 nights on the Olifants Wilderness Trail (42km) with guided bush treks and Big Five spotting in rustic camps. Day 6 is a chill rest day in Kruger with an optional game drive. 

Day 7 brings a morning drive back to JHB (5-6 hours). 

Day 8 is a late flight to Cape Town (2 hours), arriving for evening rest. 

Day 9 is a rest day in CT with optional sights like Table Mountain. 

Day 10 is the drive to Fish River Canyon (6 hours), with a briefing on arrival. 

Days 11-16 dive into the Fish River Canyon hike: 6 days/5 nights on the 90km trail with steep descents and river crossings in wilderness camps. 

Day 17 is the drive back to CT (6 hours) for a sleepover. 

Day 18 is the drive to Fish River Canyon (6 hours), with a briefing on arrival. 

Day 19 is a rest day in CT with optional wine tasting or beach time. 

Day 20 is the flight to East London (1 hour) and drive to Port St John’s (3 hours). 

Day 21 is a rest day in PSJ with an optional beach walk. 

Days 22-25 are the Wild Coast (Pondoland) hike: 4 days/3 nights (65km) from Port St John’s with coastal trails, beaches, and Xhosa culture in cozy lodges. 

Day 26 is a rest day in PSJ for wrap-up. 

Day 27 is the drive to EL (3 hours) and flight to JHB (1 hour), ending the odyssey
